Period poverty encompasses not just a lack of access to period supplies, but also a lack of knowledge about menstrual hygiene. SAFWGS is committed to filling in the gaps in menstrual hygiene education, eradicating the stigma associated with menstruation, and continuing to raise awareness about the barriers to menstrual product access.
